5:34 PM, Monday, February 5, 2018.  “I had glioma left temporal lobe surgery in December.  Before the surgery I could speak three languages.  Now the words are all garbled.  I hope to recover by September and I want to spend more time in the arts…to better develop both sides of my brain.”  -Lilly Stevens pauses in the evening light outside the Calistoga Arts Center before enrolling in Jules Stout’s ceramic class.
