Civil engineer and rugby player, Ian McPherson, Delaney Park Strip, Anchorage (Clark James Mishler)

6:45 PM, May 9, 2013.  Civil engineer and rugby player, Iain McPherson, on the Delaney Park Strip, Anchorage.  There were about 20 young men on the park strip participating in, what was obviously, their first practice of the year.  I was drawn to Ian and his red hair.  I also loved his shirt and shorts.  I asked his coaches if I could pull him out of practice for three minutes to make his photograph.  They thought it was humorous and agreed to my request.  Luckily, Ian was comfortable having his photograph made just a few paces from his teammates.
