Can a father walk his daughter down the aisle and photograph her wedding? As my wedding gift, I really wanted to try to do something special for Quannah and Conor. I approached this event as an editorial photographer and, for the most part, attempted to photograph everyone being themselves with a minimum of posed images. As the three day event took place in Carmel, I also hoped to capture this wonderful northern California environment. Finally, I tried to create images that were artistic and fun. I used my 90 mm perspective control lens extensively, allowing me to fine-tuned the area of focus. Mitzi, of course, performed her usual high level of art direction and coordination while I was able to concentrate on making images. We all had great fun and I hope we were able to produce a number of unique images.

Madeleine Millar - These are such great pictures! It was like I was at the wedding again!
admin - Madeleine: Thank you for your kind remarks. I think photographs are best when they remind us of a special time or event. It is even better when they transport us there, if even for a few seconds.
