Portrait 365/38

Pilot, Heather Wilson, is ready for take off at the Ski for Women at Kincade Park, Anchorage, Alaska (It was a very dull cloudy day this morning, so I used an electronically triggered Vivitar 283 with a 1/2 CTO warming filter inside a small soft box just out the the frame on the left.  The strobe allowed me to punch up Heather’s face while dropping the overall exposure down.  The lower exposure kept the sky from burning out and punched up the orange in the wings.)
